Lubbock Regional MHMR Center encourages consumers, family members and the public to participate in the review planning and development of our services.  These committees are charged with assisting the Board of Trustees in an advisory capacity, making recommendations regarding the development of the strategic plan and the provider network, respectively.  The committees should be balanced to meet the diverse needs of the community.

Preference is given to individuals who are current or former consumers of mental health or mental retardation services or family members of consumers and interested stakeholders from the community.  Residents of Crosby, Cochran, Lynn and Hockley counties (see map below) are particularly needed in order to better represent the five counties served.  Length of participation can vary from one to three years.
