Mission Statement
To reduce the stigma placed on individuals with disabilities by providing an opportunity for community members to assist in providing quality services

Lubbock Regional MHMR Center encourages consumers, family members and the public to participate in the review, planning and development of our services.

Some of the volunteer activities available include:

  • Becoming a consumer volunteer.
  • Becoming a student volunteer.
  • Becoming a volunteer from the community.
  • Volunteering to serve on the Advisory Committee.
This group makes recommendations about issues such as strategic planning. This role is more formal and structured. If you are interested in serving on the Advisory Committee, please call the Planning Office at (806) 766-0338 to request an application.
Volunteers assist with conducting surveys, clerical duties, working directly with consumers, teaching, student internships and more.
