In December 2004, patients participated in a long-term group project designed to teach life skills, cooperation, team building, creativity, and ingenuity. The result of this project was the creation of a Holiday Village shown in the pictures above.  The village was made by contributions from many patients over the last two weeks. 

The Holiday Village was constructed from completely edible materials, including graham crackers, marshmallows, candy canes, assorted candy, and frosting.  Look closely and you will notice trees made from ice cream cones, graham cracker houses and marshmallow snowmen.  The lake is a syrup-based candy made from scratch!
