| October 12, 2007 The Lubbock Lions Club (Downtown) will host a program that highlights the services provided by Lubbock Regional MHMR Center and its community partners during their next meeting. The event marks the first in a series of opportunities in which the Lubbock Regional MHMR Center will officially say "Thank you for making community possible!" to people and organizations who have been outstanding leaders in their support of community-based services for individuals who face the significant life challenges of aging and disabilities, mental illness and substance addictions. Senator Robert Duncan and Representative Delwin Jones Representative Carl Isett, and Sheriff David Gutierrez will be personally thanked at this meeting for their significant contributions and leadership in making community possible! Other local and state officials will join this important event, including Commissioner Addie Horn, Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
