| The Advocate of the first quarter of fiscal year 2006 is Darla Carrasco. Individual worth, self-reliance, respect and choices are terms frequently used to describe the values of our Center. Darla Carrasco, through daily efforts, helps make those terms a reality for many of the people we serve. Darla works very diligently to provide people with disabilities the opportunity to become integrated members of our community. Darla Carrasco offers support, and this leads to independence for our consumers and education for the community. Her work leads to greater acceptance for the people we serve. Darla looks toward the day when every person in the community has an equal basis and the fact that a person has a disability is not a barrier to any activity. |
