| The Advocate of the second quarter of fiscal year 2005 is Ruth Gayton.  Ruth Gayton is a trainer in the in-home support unit of the Mental Retardation Program. She provides great support for the people she serves.
Ruth makes it her personal challenge to keep consumers connected to the community in a very positive way. She recently rallied neighbors to assist a person who needed help finding housing and furniture. This story was documented in the Avalanche Journal. The support provided by Ruth has made it possible for many individuals to be successful and lead a meaningful, productive lives. |
