 The Advocate of the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2004 is Hattie Fleming.
"Ms. Hattie" is one of our Foster Care Providers, and she offers a caring, supportive home environment where our consumers develop a sense of family and belonging. When one of the individuals who lived with her told her that his biggest wish was to live with his mother, Ms. Hattie worked tirelessly to make his wish come true. She spent many of her own resources to find the family and reunite them, even though it would impact her income if she was successful in bringing the consumer and his family back together. Her work and efforts are that of a true advocate, and we are happy to recognize her. |
